| TJFA LEAGUE CUP 2ND ROUND LEVEN ATH 1 RA 2 The r.a. were away to Leven in the League Cup, the Brinkburn boys started well , playing at quick tempo and creating chances on a regular basis.
Tom Watson gave the R.A. the lead when he tapped in from close range after a pin-point cross from Jack Ridley. Goal opportunities came and went without the R.A. profiting, Leven took advantage of this and from a speculative clearance which "Teflon Andrews" failed to clear allowing Leven to equalize.
1-1 at half-time was not a true reflection of the game with "Teflon Andrews" making one other save in the half.
In the second half the R.A. played some good football but again failed to find the net until Tom returned the compliment and crossed for Jack to tap home. The deadly duo scored one each and sent the R.A. into the third round.
